Assembly Instructions - Adirondack Chair

Our chairs come mostly assembled.  All hardware and easy-to-follow instructions for remaining assembly are included. We have included the instructions below for your convenience. Important: Always use a waterproof glue in addition to the screws on all assemblies. We recommend either Titebond III or a polyurethane adhesive, both of which are available at either Home Depot or Lowes.

1. Unpack and examine all parts which consist of
  1 seat section
  1 back section
2 front legs with brackets mounted
  2 back section angle supports
2 arms with countersink holes drilled
  1 hardware kit
2. Assemble two (2) front legs to seat section using glue, carriage bolts, nuts and washers.  Note: Brackets on legs should be facing out, away from seat section. Screw two (2) ss screws from inside of seat section in pre-drilled holes for additional support.
3. Place back section in notched areas on the seat section, just past last curve (butt) seat slat.
4. Screw angle brackets into middle back slat support through pre-drilled holes. Connect bottom of angle brackets to seat section through pre-drilled holes (w in each support). Note: Bracket mounted to angle bracket should be facing out, away from chair.

5. Mount arms using pre-drilled holes in front arm bracket (screwing up into arm rest). Then mount back portion of arm into seat angle brace through pre-drilled holes in seat angle brace.

6. Wait at least 4-6 hours before using to allow glue to set.  Do any final sanding as necessary.
7. ENJOY YOUR CHAIR.
